Every COGScontrol tier is a fixed monthly or annual subscription, predictable enough to drop straight into your FP&A. The cost line we help you manage is yours to control — not ours to ride.
In 2026, ServiceNow's CEO observed that tokenized billing was "surprising the budget landscape" of an entire industry (Constellation Research). Our pricing is the opposite of a surprise: fixed, predictable, and never a function of the spend you're measuring.

How do you calculate "AI spend tracked"?
AI spend tracked is the total monthly spending we ingest and analyze across all your connected providers. This includes all API calls, compute, and related costs from OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, Vertex AI, and other connected services. The AI-spend figure on each tier is a fair-use ceiling for that tier — not a meter, not a percentage of your bill. Your subscription is a fixed amount regardless of how much AI spend you ingest within your tier.
Why fixed pricing instead of a percentage of AI spend?
Because the whole point of COGScontrol is to help finance teams escape unpredictable, usage-coupled cost lines. Charging a percentage of the cost we're helping you manage would reproduce the exact problem we exist to solve. Every COGScontrol tier — including Custom — is a fixed subscription. Soft caps on tracked AI spend exist for fair use; they are not a meter on your bill.
What happens if I outgrow my tier's AI-spend ceiling?
We'll notify you as you approach your tier's fair-use ceiling and reach out to plan an upgrade conversation. We don't auto-charge overages, and we won't cut you off from your data. We're here to help, not gatekeep your data.
Which tier is right for me?
Pulse — trying it out, or under $10K/mo of tracked AI spend. Track — seed to Series A, finance-led founder or CTO, under $100K/mo of tracked AI spend. Scale — Series B+ with a growing finance team and a CFO or controller as primary buyer, under $500K/mo of tracked AI spend. Custom — enterprise, multi-entity, or security/compliance requirements (SAML/SCIM, custom DPA, data residency).
Can I switch plans at any time?
Yes! You can upgrade your plan at any time, and the change takes effect immediately. If you need to downgrade, the change will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. We'll prorate any unused time on your current plan.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) as well as ACH bank transfers for annual plans. Custom customers can pay via invoice with NET 30 terms. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
Do you offer annual billing discounts?
Yes! We offer a 20% discount when you pay annually instead of monthly. Track is $319/mo billed annually ($3,828/year instead of $4,788). Scale is $1,199/mo billed annually ($14,388/year instead of $17,988). Contact our sales team for Custom annual pricing.
Is there a free trial?
Our Pulse plan is free forever, so you can try COGScontrol with no commitment. If you want to trial Track features, we offer a 14-day free trial with full access to all capabilities — no credit card required. Scale is a paid subscription you can sign up for directly; talk to sales if you'd like a guided onboarding.
How secure is my provider credential data?
Security is our top priority. All credentials are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption. We use AWS KMS for key management, and all data is transmitted over TLS 1.3. We're SOC 2 Type II compliant and undergo regular security audits. Your data is isolated at the organization level, ensuring complete separation between customers.
